On the morning of September 3rd, Beijing once again became the focus of global attention as a grand gathering to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the victory of the Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War was held in Tiananmen Square, Beijing. Among the mighty and majestic formations, 115 Dongfeng Mengshi military vehicles were honored to receive the inspection, once again demonstrating to the world the responsibility and glory of China's number one military vehicle brand.
It is reported that a total of 115 Dongfeng Warrior vehicles participated in this military parade, among which 89 were officially reviewed. Twenty-five Dongfeng Warrior vehicles, "as an entire organizational unit," served as the vehicles for the battle flag formation; 24 Dongfeng Warrior vehicles participated in five formations, namely the anti-drone formation, the cyber space operations formation, the information support formation, the equipment support formation, and the logistics support formation; the remaining 40 Dongfeng Warrior vehicles led 20 ground wheeled equipment formations.
To ensure that the participating vehicles are foolproof, Dongfeng Off-Road Vehicles adheres to the principle that national honor is above all else, and mobilizes all resources to ensure the timely production and delivery of the participating vehicles. 42 on-site support team members have stood firm for more than 100 days and nights, and with 100% dedication, they have achieved 100% reliability. Up to now, Dongfeng military vehicles have appeared in national military parades 7 times in total, honorably accepting the inspection of the Party and the people, and have all achieved the remarkable performance of zero failures, zero hidden dangers, and zero breakdowns.
In the 35th anniversary National Day parade in 1984, 48 Dongfeng military vehicles were reviewed, including 2.5-ton off-road vehicles, 3.5-ton off-road vehicles, and wheeled armor with engines produced by the Second Automobile Factory.
In the 50th anniversary National Day parade in 1999, 95 Dongfeng vehicles successfully passed through Tiananmen Square, including 64 military vehicles and 31 parade floats.
In the 60th anniversary National Day parade in 2009, 83 Dongfeng military vehicles participated in the review, among which there were 43 Dongfeng Commercial Vehicle EQ2102 series models and 40 Dongfeng Mengshi EQ2050 models.
In the 2015 parade commemorating the 70th anniversary of the victory of the Chinese People's War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War, 118 Dongfeng military vehicles were reviewed, including 105 Dongfeng Mengshi models and 13 Dongfeng EQ2102N models, accounting for about one-third of the total number of parade vehicles and equipment, ranking first among all reviewed automobile brands.
At the military parade celebrating the 90th anniversary of the founding of the Chinese People's Liberation Army in 2017, 187 Dongfeng military vehicles were reviewed, accounting for one-third of all participating vehicles and equipment.
In the 70th anniversary National Day parade in 2019, 135 Dongfeng military vehicles were reviewed, appearing as the "vanguard" in the equipment formation, including 115 Dongfeng Mengshi models and 20 Dongfeng Commercial Vehicle EQ2102N models.
